Pink Festival Disco Theme Wedding At Hadsham Farm

A fave moment from the day was our flower/beer boys who created a diversion while the bridal party walked around the field to the ceremony. Two of Anoushka's American housemates from her time studying at UCSB strutted down to the ceremony arch to September by Earth Wind and Fire (the song references the 21st of September which was when we got engaged!) throwing flower petals and handing out beers, seltzers and cocktails to guests. They did a few leapfrogs, rolly pollies and other crowd-pleasers to get the vibes going and give the girls time to walk around the field without everyone watching.

Once you've got a venue and catering you're halfway there! We found one of the hardest (and longest) parts of wedding planning to be finding a venue we loved that was also free on the date we wanted that aligned with the food supplier we wanted (location and date wise). Also, make sure you have a plan for clearing up the next day! Our wedding was more DIY than other weddings can be, but there will always be jobs to do the next day so it's good to have a plan for who can help with what.
